After a few months, my husband began coming home asking what I did all day. Because I felt my new job wasn't glamorous, interesting or worthy of recognition, I would just say "Not much. . .the usual" and leave it at that. I would get the rolling eyes and "Gee, it must be nice. Wish I could stay home and do nothing". Well, it only took a few times and I started making a written list of all I did during the day. After the second time that I asked what he did all day, he stopped asking me. Turned out, my list was much longer than his ever was.....much much much longer.<BR/>Hope your day is a beautiful one.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00648206888940248970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453890267354195934.post-1600063327777083202009-03-25T14:42:00.000-04:002009-03-25T14:42:00.000-04:00I agree with Gail and Debbie. He's doing it in a humorous way, but it still makes me feel like I'm not taken seriously and that I'm not allowed to say I've had a busy day. It's kind of frustrating.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04589606390781637262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453890267354195934.post-3520117678858019262009-03-24T23:15:00.000-04:002009-03-24T23:15:00.000-04:00One of the things I've found to help with this "pr...One of the things I've found to help with this "problem" is to go away for a couple of days -- during the week -- and leave him in charge of getting the kids out of the house in the morning and all the after school stuff along with laundry and dinner. If you are lucky you can get a birthday party or 2 in there too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453890267354195934.post-1114565962975598302009-03-24T22:42:00.000-04:002009-03-24T22:42:00.000-04:00Let him do what you do for a day or two - without ...Let him do what you do for a day or two - without your help.
